This Vermont-based company recently expanded its operations to the East Tennessee area with the purchase of a vacant 334,000 square-foot building. The facility is quickly being reconfigured with new equipment and processes to support the roasting, grinding, packaging and distribution of coffee, in particular its Keurig single-cup coffee brewer product line. The owner is also targeting upgrades to its facility to be “LEED” certified, implementing many steps toward a more efficient and energy-saving building.
